The idea of the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari privatizing NNPC has been dismissed as not only dangerous but a deliberate act to perpetuate the sufferings of the masses in Nigeria.
In his comment at Onitsha during the celebration of his 54th year in the Lord’s Vineyard, a famous Nigerian Prophet, His Grace, Most Rev.Prof. Daddy Hezekiah, who is the founder and Chancellor of Hezekiah University, Umudi, Nkwerre raised the alarm on the side effects of such Federal Government decisions and imposing it on the Nigerian populace.
To the leader of the Living Christ Mission, the decision would further escalate the plight of the Nigerians.
Daddy Hezekiah said that it was dangerous for Federal Government to privatize areas that leave no alternatives to the public which he enlists among others like energy and power.
He said he has no problem with Federal Government privatizing agencies like Airways, NIPOST whose alternatives are not farfetched.
The prophet emphasized that many problems are left unsolved by the government such as the payment of pensions to the retirees.
