The future of Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be decided today as the Britain governing conservatives will hold a vote of no-confidence today, Monday, June 6.

This is a result of the party gate scandal during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021. He has sinned, he has apologized and paid his fine. Thus he needs to be forgiven to encourage him for all the good works he has done in and for the United Kingdom.

It is noteworthy that if Boris Johnson loses the vote among the 359 Conservative lawmakers, the party will choose a new leader, who will also become the next prime minister. However, if he wins, he can’t face another challenge for a year under current party rules.

Boris Johnson needs the support of the voters to draw a line under the issues the opponents want. His supporters should stand by him by voting in his favor else the wish of the enemies and opponents will be gratified.

The UK under the leadership of Boris Johnson has won the biggest mandate for the Conservative Party in 40 years as they resolved the long Brexit crisis and created a new and friendly relationship with the European Union.

When the UK was hit by the worst global pandemic in a century, the UK led by Johnson showed the drive and grip to deliver the first approved vaccine anywhere in the world followed by the fastest vaccine roll-out in Europe.

These achievements are stated not to take satisfaction in past glory, but because the same energy used to achieve these can be used to achieve many more in the future.

This is a call to all voters to ensure Boris Johnson is not ousted as UK Prime Minister. We should all stand firm to encourage him as no one is above mistakes. Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at him.
