Kunle Remi, the lead actor in the movie “Anikulapo,” has responded to his exclusion from the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) nomination list. Despite the movie having the highest number of nominations (16) this year, Remi was surprisingly missing from the list.
The actor’s absence sparked outrage on social media, with many fans of the movie claiming that he was deliberately neglected.
Reacting to the situation on his Instagram page, Remi expressed his gratitude for his fans’ concern and messages. He also said that if he had been nominated, he would have won the categories that some of his friends were nominated for.
