A 39-year-old generator repairer, Paulinus Emeh, who purportedly cheated his client to the tune of N2.7m, has showed up under the steady gaze of an Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State.
The News Agency of Nigeria announced that Emeh, whose private location was not given, is being investigated on four counts of extortion and taking.
The police examiner, Insp. N. A. Simon, told the court on Friday that the litigant submitted the supposed offenses on October 16, around 11am on Community Road, Ago, Okota, in Lagos.
Simon affirmed that the litigant deceitfully got the amount of N2.7m from the complainant, Mr Benjamin Idisi, allegedly fixing another center in the complainant’s 1.500KVA caterpillar generator.
