The US is known as one of the most excellent education destinations globally, as it boasts some of the best universities in the world. There is a vast range of scholarships available for Nigerian students who wish to study in the US; this one is specifically reserved for Nigerian students. This scholarship is highly competitive. Preferred candidates are those who have outstanding academic achievements, excellent communication skills in English, a commitment to community service and volunteer work. The scholarship is renewable for an additional three years of undergraduate study. The award ranges from $8,000 to $20,000 per year.

6. Oxford Scholarship:

The University of Oxford, located in the United Kingdom, is believed to be the oldest university in the world conducted in English. Students from Nigeria are eligible to apply for the Reach Oxford Scholarship, which provides funding for course tuition, a stipend to cover living expenses, and one return airfare each academic year. The selection process will take place in March 2023 for candidates for the class of 2023 who submit their applications by the scholarship closing date of February 9, 2023. There are only a few awards available each year. This presents an excellent opportunity to further one’s education at one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the UK.

7. Entrance Scholarship for African Students:

The University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada, is offering a scholarship to African students who are majoring or minoring in English with the aim of fostering a more diverse student body. This is an automatic award, and students who are enrolled full-time in the university’s undergraduate programs offered in English.
